This was pre-production for a film that never got made made... We shot a backup script in the end due to a series of complications. Below is the final script.

We then did a “script breakdown,” writing on the script and labeling what kind of shots we need for every scene. This really helps when you’re the director and you’re going off of just the screenplay pages when directing the film to make sure that you have everything covered.
Personally I’m not a huge fan of the shot list unless I have a DP with me but that’s not always possible when you’re run-and-gun-ing

Then this is the storyboard I had an artist friend draw for me. We were basically done with preproduction and ready to shoot at this point.
